The remaining Sovereign-class Dreadnoughts, which numbered up to about a few hundred, saw extensive action in the Milky Way War several years later. They eventually made the decision to retire the construction of additional Sovereign-class Dreadnoughts while keeping all active Dreadnoughts operational.
